   Vaikka Verdi ei olisi ikinä kirjoittanut mitään muuta kuin tämän, olisi hän maailmanhistorian merkittävimpien säveltäjien joukossa. Italialaisille yhtä tärkeä kappale kuin Finlandia on suomalaisille.
