   This was a wonderful moment for the NY Philharmonic, playing cultural diplomacy. Surely the world needs more of this. The passion and compassion embodied in this rendition of Arirang were profound.

    You are so wrong… Non Cultural People??? Ever heard of the “AMERICA THE MELTING POT”??? America is the most diverse country in the world… When my parents moved to America they were amazed by the diversity here… Im a Latino with Black, White, Asian, Indian friends who all bring there different cultures here… and if you dont believe me, look at the Orchestra… it looks pretty diverse to me, and for you to call America non-cultural is just arrogant.

    Could you shut your mouth you arrogant, pretentious, European. Yeah you hold on to your “enormous culture” because thats basically all Europe has left…You have lost all power in geopolitics, and while you snob about European culture, the rest of us will be getting on with our lives. For bloody sakes, the European Union criticizes the U.S. about its human rights abuses, but it allows separate schools for people of the Romani ethnicity? Can I say hypocrite?

    @musikjo31 Eh oui Joël, si tout le monde pouvait s’ouvrir à la musique, à la grande musique, celle qui touche le coeur et l’esprit.
    Peut-être que l’Homme retrouverait la foi (en lui) et serait plus tolérant…
    On ne refera pas le monde…
